I. Dachs and Sons' staff is divided into various specialized departments:

Commercial Lines

Our Account Executives and Account Representatives expertly handle I Dachs and Sons commercial property and casualty accounts. The General Manager of I. Dachs and Sons is a member of the Commercial Lines Department. The commercial Account Executives and Account Representatives are available to answer any coverage questions our clients may have, handle all phases of renewals, and cater to any and all account servicing needs that arise during the policy period.

Policy Checking and Rating

Another feature that separates I. Dachs and Sons from other firms of similar size is its specialized Policy Checking and Rating Department. This department is responsible for checking and rating all policies that are written through the agency to assure both the accuracy of the policies as well as the policy's rates and premiums. The department also keeps apprised of all state regulated rates as well as the rates of our carriers. Having multiple sets of eyes review policies prevents errors and omissions, and allows us to provide a quality product to our clients.

Personal Lines

Our personal lines department is responsible for the handling of our personal lines book of business. Our personal lines department is a service driven department, always cognizant of the fact that they are dealing with individual's valuable personal property and possessions.

Marketing

A key to any agency's success is the ability to get its carriers to provide insurance programs that are superior to the competition, both from a coverage as well as from a pricing perspective. At our agency, our marketing department excels at doing just that. Led by a marketing manager who has vast experience and contacts in the insurance business, our marketing department is able to match the right risks with the right carriers to achieve the desired result. Be it a risk that we are placing with one of our many direct carriers, or a risk that is placed with the many insurance wholesalers with whom we do business, our marketing department provides the expertise to get the job done.

Accounting

Our accounting department handles all areas of finance for our firm from premium collection to premium payment. The accounting department also handles premium financing needs, should our clients desire these services. Our accounting manager has over 30 years of continuous experience with I. Dachs and Sons.

Claims

I Dachs & Sons places great emphasis on its ability to provide superior service when our clients need it most: when they experience a loss. Our claims manager has over 25 years of industry experience with both first party and third party claims. Our claims department will process, monitor, and advocate on behalf of our clients, from the inception of the filing of a claim with the insurance company until its final resolution. They will also monitor claim trends for frequency and severity, monitor subrogation efforts, and answer any theoretical coverage questions our clients may have.
